Naomi Neville has over 17 years of experience in all aspects of architectural practice.  Her completed work includes commercial and institutional buildings, affordable housing, schools, award winning community centers, and single-family homes.

Before forming Neville Architecture, LLC, in 2005, Naomi worked with several internationally recognized architectural firms, such as Robert A.M. Stern Architects of New York City and Koning Eizenberg Architecture of Los Angeles, CA.  For five years, she worked in the Los Angeles area, gaining experience in forward thinking “green” architecture focusing on community centers and public schools.

Naomi received her B.A in Art History from Yale University in 1990.  She received her Masters in Architecture from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture in 1995 and received the William Kinney Memorial Fellowship upon graduation.  She holds professional licenses in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York and California.

 An active member of the community, Naomi is an elected City Councilor for the City of Newport and a member of the Aquidneck Island Reuse Planning Authority, (AIRPA) in charge of excessing Navy property long the West side of Aquidneck Island.  She was a founding member of the Rhode Island Chapter of the AIA COTE (Committee on the Environment). She currently teaches a LEED prepatory class geared for professionals wishing to become LEED Accredited Professionals.

Naomi is currently elected to the Newport City Council.
